Question: On some other LED lights that look almost the same it says a power adapter is needed to operate lights. Do I need a power adapter for these lights?
Answer: No. The LED lights which need a power adapter are LED commercial lights by this supplier. While these are LED lights, they are not commercial grade and have a standard two-pronged Edison plug which will work in common household outlets.

Question: How many lights strings can I plug into each other?
Answer: The recommended maximum number of light strings to plug into each other is 3 sets.

Question: Can I mix and match light strings - meaning plug in one 50 ct. light string into a 100 ct. light string and a 25 ct. light string?
Answer: No. It is recommended that you only plug in the same light string counts into each other - so a 50 ct. light string into another 50 ct. light string. If you alternate or plug in several different count light strings into each other, you will cause different amounts of power draws for the light strings and the higher wattage needed for a 100 count light string may cause the 50 or 25 count light strings to malfunction or short out and ruin the lights.

Question: How long are these lights supposed to last?
Answer: These lights have an average life of 60,000 hours.

Question: What is the wire gauge?
Answer: This light carries a 22 gauge wire.

Question: If one bulb goes out, does the rest of the string stay lit?
Answer: Yes. These super bright lights will stay lit even if a bulb does go out.

Question: How long is the lead end or tail that has the plug for the outlet?
Answer: Six inches.

Question: I have a mini LED light and a C6 LED light but the C6 doesn't look as bright. Is this defective?
Answer: No. Actually, no matter the bulb size of an LED light set, from mini to the largest C9 light set, all these lights will have the same size inner LEDs. The wide angle or even a mini LED bulb will appear brighter when put next to a G25 or C7 bulb because the larger size cover or bulb the G25 or C7 has disperses the light and projects outward. A wide angle LED projects the strongest and what some would consider the brightest light as it doesn't have a large cover to break up the light. Plus, since it is a wide angle - the light also will project out the sides even better than the mini light.

Question: I'm used to using traditional mini lights but I keep seeing all these LED lights. What's the biggest difference between traditional lights and LEDs? And are they worth the higher price?
Answer: LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. These bulbs do not contain filaments, which is the substance that burns out in traditional bulbs. LED light sets last on average ten times longer and use 1/10 the power of standard mini lights. They also emit a brighter and more distinct color for less of the energy. So while your initial investment or upfront cost is higher for an LED light, the cost savings are seen with lower electricity consumption and bills. LED lights also do not get hot! If you've ever picked up a string of traditional lights, you may have noticed some bulbs and wire will put off tremendous heat. The LED lights produce a minimimal amount of heat.

Question: Are LED lights worth the cost?
Answer: Ultimately you budget will determine your decorating dreams. But in our opinion, LED lights are the future of Christmas lights. Think about this, colors that will never fade, lights that stay lit using minimal power, and no glass to ever break. The bulbs themselves are housed in hard plastic that will protect them for years on end. You have the same effect of mini lights, C7, or C9 bulbs with all the perks of LED bulbs and you won't have to worry about fixing a string if they go out or replacing burnt out or broken bulbs, because LED light strings are more durable and dependable. You won't have to buy new lights every season, just pull the LED Light sets out of storage and decorate.
