Simply start at the top and work in a spiral motion down the tree. For best results, you'll want to start from the inside and work out, making sure to touch every branch, positioning them up and down in a variety of ways, checking for any open spaces as you go.
As you work your way down, the spiral motion will ensure that you won't have any gaps. And by touching every branch you'll create the desired full, natural look.

This tree was easy to assemble. Once set up, it will take you quite a while and a lot of fussing to flush out the branches to give it an even and full look, but once done, the tree looks fairly full. If left undecorated, you will notice there is some empty space, but once decorated, and with all the lights on, the tree looks awesome! I recommend flushing out the branches on the top piece before attaching it as once on, it will be pretty hard to reach (at least on the 7.5 foot model). The tree has is has plenty of lights, and it looks amazing as is. I however, can never have enough lights so I added 400 more (the tree pictured has the added lights). I am extremely happy with this tree. It is a good size, it is wide and even though some may like more fullness, I think when decorated it looks beautiful, and quite full enough. And I got this and fully decorated it for much, much less than comparable trees sold bare. I would also recommend that you carefully locate and keep track of the plugs on each piece of tree that connect to the next piece before you put the parts together as they are hard to find and if you lose sight of them, it will take some time to find them again.

The tree is fine, the lights all received in good shape and functioning, however the tree is not as full as shown in the picture no matter how much I tried to fluf the branches.
It shed a lot of needles during installation and decoration, my wife was not too happy about that, and the lights are not the "stay on" type so if one bulb is out the whole line will go out and you will have to figure out which bulb is the culprit and change it.

I ordered my Christmas tree for 2013 on Christmas Day! I had shopped around before Christmas and just couldn't find one that I liked and could afford! I kept looking at this tree and decided to just order it for 2013! Like I said, I ordered it on Christmas Day and it came in on Dec. 29th! I just had to take it out of the box to see it and make sure all the lights worked! I am pleased to say that all the lights work! I did not fluff the tree because of having to box it back up, but I believe it will look just like the picture! I ordered the 7.5 ft tree and it is really big! Can't wait till Christmas rolls around again!

Q1: Do they have the lighting strand where if one bulb goes out the others remain lit?
A: If one light goes out the others will remain lit, unless you remove the bulb completely then the whole strand will go out. Once you replace the bulb the lights will be lit again.
Q2: Are the branches connected or do we have to put them in like the older trees?
A: This item assembles like the majority of artificial trees. The branches need to be connected.
