This tree works perfectly in our 50s modern home. I like a tree without lights, so I can choose special types of lights. For ours, we put randomly sparkling white lights, and with the shiny champagne metallic look, it has lots of sparkle!

the slim christmas trees are perfect for outdoor use. we needed a couple trees for the yard and the slim line worked very well. was able to not use the base, stick the trunk in a pvc pipe in the ground and bingo, standing tall and shinny with the help of the flood lights
